Lajos Pápa started cultivating grapes and producing wine 30 years ago in the city of Kiskunhalas. The four cellars and the related vineyard estate in the Somló region have been the property of the family since 2001. Since then, they resettled from the Great Hungarian Plain to Somló: in 2005, the winery operating there has been liquidated, and the family moved to the village of Nemesgulács in 2014.
They currently grow vines on a land of 0.8 hectares, of which 0.6 hectares have been replanted and 0.2 hectares renewed.
Besides the wine cellar, their tastefully designed guest bower is available for up to 20 people by prior appointment for tasting of Juhfark, Welschriesling and Furmint varieties with optional wine biscuits.
Suitable for bacon frying, cooking in traditional cauldron and lava stone grill cooking, the property provides an ideal environment for unforgettable get-togethers with family and friends in a good atmosphere.
