The family’s first vineyard was purchased by Zoltán Simon’s grandfather in 1999, inherited by his father, János Simon. The family purchased nearby lands, therefore the vineyard covers nearly 2 hectares by now.
A love for vine and wine has been in the family thanks to grandparents on both sides. Since high school years, Zoltán has been attracted to agriculture and wine-making. This also reflects in the fact that he graduated in agricultural engineering. Mainly, his interest in catering also stems from wine-making.
On their vineyard, they grow varieties like Juhfark, Korona, Hárslevelű, Riesling and Gewürztraminer. Visitors are welcome to taste and purchase the produced wines by prior appointment.
Wine-tasting is optionally followed by cold or hot meals. The property is available for smaller events as well, for up to 25 people (team buildings, class reunions, get-togethers with family and friends). The guest house is currently under construction in order to provide experience based on rural tourism. Hopefully, it will be available for accommodation by the end of this year.
